Mayors Gallagher & Klipsch to deliver first recycling carts

WHAT: Delivery of the first new recycling carts to Bettendorf and Davenport residents

WHO: Bettendorf Mayor Robert Gallagher & Davenport Mayor Frank Klipsch will deliver the first carts.

WHEN: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22

WHERE: 1540 Crow Creek Road, Davenport & 1635 Crow Creek Road, Bettendorf

WHY: On August 1, recycling is changing in Scott County. Residents will be able to recycle more materials in
one recycling cart without separating paper items from containers. Carts that allow for these recycling changes will be delivered June 22-July 30 in Davenport and Bettendorf.
