June 27, 2016
Waste Commission of Scott County facilities will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Normal hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, July 5. Waste Commission of Scott County facilities include the following:

• Scott Area Landfill, 11555 110th Ave., Davenport

In addition, residents with compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) or full medical sharps containers may drop them off at the adjacent Electronic Demanufacturing Facility, where they also may pick up new containers for sharps.

Waste Commission of Scott County is an inter-governmental agency whose mission is to provide environmentally sound and economically feasible solid waste management for Scott County.
