Community Shred Events

Need to shred documents? Here are a few shred events happening in May around the Quad-Cities.

  • Community Shred Day: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 2, at the Rock Island Main Library, 401 19th St., Rock Island. Bring your personal documents (3 disposable containers maximum) and drive up and drop off for onsite shredding by a certified destruction agent from Shred-It. Shred-It is NAID Certified for mobile document destruction.This event is FREE and open to the public.[link to event]
  • Shred Day: 1-3 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at the Davenport Public Library – Eastern Avenue Branch, 6000 Eastern Avenue, Davenport. Bring your personal documents (3 containers maximum) to the Eastern Avenue Branch and they will be confidentially shredded on-site. This event is FREE and open to the public. [link to event]

  • Community Shred Day: 9-11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Moline Public Library, 3210 41st Street, Moline. Bring personal documents in for secure destruction by Shred-It, using an onsite document destruction truck located in the library’s parking lot. Limit of 2 paper size boxes of documents per vehicle. This event is FREE and open to the public. [link to event]
